For more than 25 years, the Børsen Gazelle award has been the very symbol of business success in Denmark. A celebration of economic growth, innovation, and hardwork, presented by the nation’s leading financial media outlet.

But today’s world is not only in need of economic growth. It’s also, and perhaps more so, in need of a significant decrease in CO2 emissions. Energy company NRGi knows that and has made it their business to accelerate the green transformation in Denmark. Which made it our business too.

What we did to support NRGi’s ambition was to take the very well-known and coveted trophy, the Børsen Gazelle, and make it…green. Introducing The Børsen Green Gazelle – a new award, honoring Gazelle winners who demonstrate measurable, sustainable actions. No vague promises or lofty ambitions. Just hard evidence of progress.

Today, the Green Gazelle is a permanent part of the Børsen Gazelle concept, paying tribute to the pioneers and inspiring others to follow their lead. So, what may sound like a simple and obvious idea, has already proven to be a valuable leverage when it comes to accelerating the green transformation.

The Børsen Green Gazelle statuettes are crafted from copper – a nod to the electrification of society. Over time, the copper develops a green patina, a fitting symbol of sustainable progress.
